From a Dream

about

From the album "White Wall, Silent Light", out October 20th 2017 on King Forward Records

lyrics

Face the facts in the open air
I'm never this outspoken

Driving through meandering streets
Bring in Red Adair to conquer the flames

I blow off steam
All cats run to me
Smoking indoors, accumulation of accounts

There is the ghost of indifference
There's someone in my house but it's not me

Face the facts in the open air
I'm never this outspoken

Oh the Irish Sea
A thing of beauty
Why is it that you can not feel this love?

Poisonous strike woke me from a dream
Nature never dies if you take care

It has been like this for God knows how long
Don't call out the names of the ones that got out alive

about

I Took Your Name Groningen, Netherlands

The original plan was to make an ambient guitar record about rail yards. All that audiotransparent and kendler guitar player Chris van der Ploeg came up with was songs. He christened his project I Took Your Name, the name borrowed from an R.E.M. song.
